In this class, I hope to learn useful computer skills and programs that help me become the best teacher that I can be. Technology can be such a useful tool when used properly in education, and I am really glad that courses like this are offered to future educators. There are many websites that teachers can use to their advantage to create a fun, exciting, and engaging classroom, but, unfortunately, they go unnoticed by many educators and never used to their full potential. With the skills that I learn in this class, I hope to be able to use these tools in the future while I am teaching. I will have to write all of the names of the websites down and their purpose, to create the best learning experience possible.

For a short period of time, in my junior year of high school, I taught ESOL alongside my cousin (who is an English teacher) and other volunteers. In that class, we divided the students into three groups: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. I was in charge of the intermediate class, so I used many different tools to help teach the class. I used YouTube and Instagram to help me find ways to teach and I used existing templates from other teachers online to work on with the students. During the last week of classes, I even made a Jeopardy game with different categories and points set up and played with the class. As a student, I've used a variety of study guides online from YouTube to various university websites. Many Microsoft applications are very useful as well.

My favorite subject to learn more about is psychology. If I did not choose to be in education, I would've chosen psychology. I read, watch, and indulge in content about psychology and human behavior quite often, and it is a big interest of mine. My main hobbies include playing music, cooking, and reading. Another thing I can quite interested in is songwriting and music. My main learning resource is YouTube, as I can find content for all of my hobbies in one place for free. My second favorite learning resource is books, but I get most of my book recommendations from YouTube anyway (maybe that counts as using YouTube as well). Learning is my true passion, which is why I decided to become a teacher. I want to show others how powerful learning is, and I can do that through my favorite way; through writing!
